  1. 1.Heat 2 tbsp oil, add mustard seeds and a pinch of hing.
  2. 2.Add chopped onion, sauté till golden.
  3. 3.Stir in 1.5 tbsp Srubhi Kanda Lasun Masala, cook 1 minute till aromatic.
  4. 4.Add your vegetable of choice, salt, and a splash of water. Cover and cook till done.
  5. 5.Finish with fresh coriander and a squeeze of lemon.

Sunday Goda Masala Varan

A slow, comforting dal that leans on Goda Masala's warm, faintly sweet spicing.

  1. 1.Pressure-cook 1 cup toor dal with turmeric until soft.
  2. 2.In a separate pan, temper cumin, curry leaves and green chilli in ghee.
  3. 3.Add 1 tbsp Srubhi Goda Masala, a spoon of jaggery, and cooked dal.
  4. 4.Simmer 10 minutes, adjust salt and consistency with water.
  5. 5.Serve hot with steamed rice and a wedge of lime.

Weeknight Paneer Butter Masala

A restaurant-style gravy at home, finished with Srubhi Garam Masala right at the end.

  1. 1.Sauté onion, ginger-garlic and tomato till soft; blend to a smooth paste.
  2. 2.Cook the paste in butter with red chilli powder for 5 minutes.
  3. 3.Add cream, a little sugar, and paneer cubes. Simmer 5 minutes.
  4. 4.Off heat, stir in 1 tsp Srubhi Garam Masala.
  5. 5.Garnish with kasuri methi and serve with naan or rice.
Kolhapuri-Style Misal

Kolhapuri-Style Misal

Sprouted moth beans in a fiery, deeply spiced kat — the kind that needs a good Kala Masala.

  1. 1.Boil sprouted moth beans with salt and turmeric until tender.
  2. 2.For the kat, sauté onion-tomato masala paste with 2 tbsp Srubhi Kala Masala.
  3. 3.Add water, simmer 15 minutes to a thin, fiery gravy.
  4. 4.Pour hot kat over sprouts, top with farsan, onion and coriander.
  5. 5.Serve immediately with pav.
Layered Chicken Biryani

Layered Chicken Biryani

Classic dum-style biryani, built around one reliable spoon of Srubhi Biryani Masala.

  1. 1.Marinate chicken with yoghurt, ginger-garlic and 2 tbsp Srubhi Biryani Masala for 1 hour.
  2. 2.Par-cook basmati rice with whole spices until 70% done.
  3. 3.Cook marinated chicken till nearly done in a heavy-bottomed pot.
  4. 4.Layer rice over chicken, top with fried onions, mint and saffron milk.
  5. 5.Cover, cook on dum (low heat) for 20 minutes before opening.
Spicy Tarri Poha

Spicy Tarri Poha

15 min Serves 2 Easy

A quick breakfast with a bright red tarri, coloured and flavoured by Srubhi Lal Mirchi Powder.

  1. 1.Rinse and soak poha until soft; drain well.
  2. 2.Temper mustard seeds, curry leaves and peanuts in oil.
  3. 3.Add onion, cook till soft, then stir in 1 tsp Srubhi Lal Mirchi Powder.
  4. 4.Fold in poha, salt and a little sugar; cook 2–3 minutes.
  5. 5.Top with sev, lemon and coriander before serving.
